Nythera Corda X 1.0.1 improves the main playing experience with updated large orb controls, a cleaner Main interface and stronger, more clearly audible macro knob response.

The update makes the main sound-shaping controls feel more direct and useful, with better behaviour for the Gesture, Ensemble Core and Field orbs, wider practical movement from key macros such as Density, Spread, Tension, Brightness, Air, Attack and Release, and a clearer performance layout without unnecessary Hold/Sustain controls.

Overall, this update makes Nythera Corda X easier to shape, more expressive to play and more reliable as a cinematic, otherworldly ensemble string instrument.
 

Nythera Corda X is an advanced otherworldly ensemble strings synthesizer designed for cinematic textures, alien string sections, evolving bowed tones, deep resonant layers and expressive digital-acoustic atmospheres.

It is not a realistic orchestral library and it does not try to imitate traditional strings.

Instead, Nythera Corda X explores the sound of an imagined futuristic ensemble instrument: wide, dark, shimmering, organic, spectral and sometimes strange, as if performed by an alien string section from another world.

The instrument is built around a fast and inspiring Main page with three large performance controls. Gesture shapes the playing behaviour and bow character, Ensemble Core selects the main ensemble identity, and Field controls the spatial and motion-based character of the sound.
The lower macro controls provide direct access to dynamics, density, spread, tension, brightness, air, release and key effects.The X version opens the full engine for deeper sound design.

Dedicated pages give access to ensemble structure, bow mechanics, harmonic shape, body spectrum, envelopes, filters, motion sources, effects, modulation routing and preset management.
This makes Nythera Corda X suitable not only for quick inspiration, but also for detailed custom sound creation.

Nythera Corda X includes 64 hand-tailored factory presets, designed around alien string ensembles, dark cinematic drones, spectral bowed textures, resonant basses, shimmering layers and evolving atmospheric instruments.

The Inspire and Evolve functions help generate new musical variations while keeping the sound inside the identity of the instrument.
Because Nythera Corda X can create rich layered ensemble sounds with multiple modulation sources, filters and effects, it may require more CPU power on older systems.
For this reason, the plugin includes four performance modes: Full, Optimal, CPU Saver and Ultra Saver. These modes allow you to balance sound quality, density and CPU usage depending on your system and project.
